I'm talking about "Rocky Horror Picture Show" - are you familiar with it? With it's spooky theme - it's popular this time of year, especially, as we draw close to Halloween. This movie which came out in 1975 is a horror/musical/rock and roll/comedy ... Brad and Janet get stranded at a creepy old castle and are introduced to mad scientist - Frank N. Furter and his assorted crew of handymen, maids, guests, henchmen and lovers... Singing, hilarity and a plot twist ensue. This time of year many theater troupes will recreate the movie and it's songs on stage and audience are encouraged to bring props, such as toast, newspaper - to throw at key moments during the film. People are also encouraged to dress up. To be honest the movie didn't really grab me all that much, but the live version I just saw was TOO MUCH fun.... Do you know "Rocky Horror"? Are you a fan? I love the music in the film. The film itself isn’t all that great to me, although it does have its moments of hilarity. I only saw it one in a movie house with everyone dressed up. I read that Tim Curry later refused to talk about the movie. It’s just a jump to the left…..

Wow, one of his best known roles, surprises me that Curry wouldn't feel like talking about it. There's some great songs in there , I agree, though similarly - the movie itself didn't really grab me

I have the Rocky Horror Picture Show dvd. I almost forgot that I have it! I'll have to watch it again!! The local community theater presented Rocky Horror Show several years ago. There were items handed out to some people in the audience for participation in the songs. It was a fun show to attend.

Fun! I like that the theater passed out props... something tells me that would be even more fun

I saw it at the theater many times. It just isn't the same watching it at home. I haven't seen a live production yet, I bet that's a blast.

Oh cool! I imagine it's better on the big screen than at home. Did you happen to dress up? ;-) Not that I think that's cool or anything ;-)

@FayeHazel It is a million times better. I didn't dress up but I enjoyed the people who did.

I’m sure a live production would be 100% better than the movie. I wasn’t a fan for some reason.
