In Daringbari Eco Resort sun sets early. / myLot

In Kolkata in India presently sun sets by 5.30 every day. When I stayed in tent house in Daringbari I found in the hills around 4000 feet above sea level sun used to set around 5 pm. I dont know the geographical reason. The good thing was the weather became cold by that time. Presently the temperature is 13 degree celsius

thanks Belle yes in northern part of USA the shortening of days are higher sun even sets at 3 pm

A bit odd because I knew longitudinal differences causes this differences in sunset timings, but Daringbari longitude is just slightly different from Kolkata.
