Gamma our pet rooster loved to be around us. He would knock at the closed door wanting to come inside We let him inside one day when he was doing that.
Here he is seen on our carpet looking quite happy He crowed once, I remember. But before he could leave behind any tell tale signs I lifted him and took him outside You know how birds cannot control their bowels

Chicken can be as nice as any pet. The girls had a pet hen when they were little. She flew up to the top of the fridge to lay an egg for a gift. We remember her.

Gamma was attached to our maid. He would knock on her door where she was studying and would then climb up and sit on her books
