I see the stores are full of people doing shopping for Christmas , probably they think they get better deals now than later. I decided to wait until December ,how about you?

YES! I have started. I usually like to have mine done by the end of November at the latest. I have a lot of fun finding and buying gifts for friends and family.

The other day I went to my local goodwill store, you wouldn't believe it what they have. Some stuff been donated is new and not open.So if you have a chance go to the nearest one and see if you can get some good deal.

On Christmas Eve 1995, I was in full-blown labor, but the young, Resident doctors on duty that day did not recognize that because I was experiencing labor dystocia. In other words, because my son weighed ten pounds, his head had a fifteen-centimeter circumference, and I had an abnormally tiny uterus, my body could not do what it needed to do. So my cervix was not dilated each time that day when my mother took me to the hospital. So those doctors thought my contractions were only Braxton Hicks and continued to send me home. In the midst of all of this, Mom still needed to finish Christmas shopping. So, since this was my first child, she told me to suck it up and walk through Walmart with her. I was not very happy about that, and I was nearly stampeded that night because apparently, people can't see a two-hundred-and-twenty-three-pound pregnant woman waddling down the main aisles of that store. But I digress. In the twenty-six years since then, I have not shopped in Walmart from 10/31-1/1, except online. And, I avoid other big box stores as well. I tend to do my Christmas shopping all year, and almost exclusively in Mom and Pop shops.

@coolsite I do not like to be in big crowds like that. I like to go when I know it will not be very crowded.

Your are right especially now that we are trying to recover from the coronavirus . I try also to stay away from crowds and still put on mask indoors.
