A very lovely and sentimental song "For the Good Times" sung by Perry Como. This is a song written by Kris Kristofferson and was first recorded by Bill Nash in 1968. Kristofferson included the song in his debut album in 1970. It became a number one hit for Ray Price on the country charts. The song became a staple of soul singer Al Greene concert appearances. The version by Perry Como made it on the UK singles chart.

I had no idea that Kris wrote this song. I remember Perry, Bill, and Ray, and Al Greene.
