Evan Struckman who is 10 years of age who lives in Missouri is what you call a super Tony Stark fan who dresses like his favorite alter ego of the Invincible Iron Man is one young man who impressed his mother Jill for his bravery of wearing the costume during Halloween week. Evan had to deal with some of his fellow students who mocked him for dressing up as the millionaire hero by making fun of his taste in clothing by calling him "Stupid" which of course hurt his feelings to the point that when he arrived in school, he went to the principal's office to ask the officials to call his mom to go home since his heart was on in staying in school after he took the makeup of his favorite hero character. Jill then took her son to Starbucks where her son told her about the bullying over the choice of dressing up as his favorite hero character. When Jill told her son that dressing up as his favorite hero is "Awesome.", Evan decided to dress up as Tony once again and go back to school and join the Halloween party since his mom advised her son not to allow a few mean kids define who he is. Jill sent the story on Facebook which is gained a lot of attention since we all have to face persons who say mean things since they do not like the idols of kids that they admire. My advice to Jill and Evan is to see the cartoon movie on PBS Kids called "Wordgirl: The Rise Of Miss Power" which deals with the subject of being bullied. The movie has a wonderful way to beat a bully at their own game.

It’s shameful how kids are bullied at school Teachers and adults in the school should be held responsible. There is no excuse for a child being bullied at school.

@Deepizzaguy There’s very little that’s worse for a child.

@RubyHawk That is true since children are not used to be insulted when they never harmed anyone in the first place,

It's appalling that children are so thoughtless. I'm glad that Evan went to the Halloween party dressed as his hero.

@LindaOHio The excuse they will use is that they come from broken homes.

Wordgirl..I seem to recall that one George. I think Evan's choice is an excellent one. He really did it well that costume and most unusual a costume it is. To heck with those mean kids is what I say.

@RebeccasFarm Evan looks like a young Tony Stark who along with Reed Richards of Fantastic Four fame are considered the smartest males in the Marvel universe.

Wordgirl ran on PBS Kids from 2007-2015. It is a Superman parody.

I agree with you since Evan is a nice young boy who did not deserve to be insulted since he admires Tony Stark as his role model.
