I woke up a bit late because Angel woke me up at 4 something a.m., and I kept asking what she wanted and she mostly sat there staring at me. Finally she went to the front door and I took her out to "Do her business". After that we came in and I finally got back to sleep, but woke up late.
I need to get breakfast and coffee, I'd like to clean the floors in here (vacuuming and "Swiffer wet-jetting".
I want to get some goodie bags ready for tomorrow night. Don't know if kids go door-to-door here, but there are a lot of children here in the complex, so I'm assuming so.
I may go to Staples and pick up some rubber bands. I thought of going to the grocery store, too, but now I forget what I wanted to go there for.
Right now I need to get breakfast and coffee and get going.
Have a wonderful morning/afternoon/evening in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later !

What is it about cats that make them wake up between 4 and 5 a.m. I could set my clock by Lucy who has a long established routine. When she wakes up she goes downstairs and has a snack, a noisy crunching of cat biscuits. this wakes me up. I used to wait for her to thump the front door to be let out, but she doesn/'t do that so much now. Instead she returns upstairs, comes into my bedroom and scratches a mat. This is her request for me to lift her up on to my bed. It has a quilt and she can't quite get a grip on it the same way as she would a blanket. Once on my bed she settles where i put her and purrs loud and long. I usually fall asleep before she stops. An hour or two later she wakes me again and this time she requires to go out and I decide it is time for me to get up and make a cup of coffee.
