The Wife

I saw this qoute online and it caught my attention. I think for a while and like what I observe in a married life these generation, the roles of a husband and wife evolves too.
I mean married couples before has roles specific for their gender. The husband (male) should do all the biggest responsibilities for the family like having a good job with stable income, manly chores , protecting his family.
The wife ( female) takes good care of everything like doing household chores, managing the house, budgeting, rearing their children.
But now , as technology develops the roles evolve too. Wives helps the husband .More wives can be seen doing the husband's parts and same goes with the husbands.
Today marriage is a product of two people who love each other equally . For me, a wife too plays an important role in keeping a happy marriage not just the husband. Having a companion who would help financially is a very big help already.

I am not married so cannot completely relate as to the domestic role a woman has on the family. My parents were both working together. Though we had househelps and yayas my mother sees to it that she administers the home and even extending assitance to her siblings. I will turn senior soon and I believe marriage should be treated as a business partnership where both must share equally in the responsibilities both financially and domestically. But recently we see that some if not most women are earning more than their husbands. I have women staff and they earn more than their husbands

Each spouse should do what he/she does best. A companion is not only a business partner.

I agree with you there. Marriage should be about equal partnership.
