I sometimes find it difficult to avoid scolding, yelling, and hitting my child. It's very difficult to control yourself when emotions are overflowing. As it is said in the religion that "Do not be angry, surely for you heaven" When emotions are overflowing, someone is able to hold them, not only will he find himself calm, but also comfort for others will also be felt. It is a very great reward for a person who has the power to restrain himself, Not wealth, or luxury cars, but a paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth.

It might be easier than you think to get control. It's all about buying ourselves a few extra seconds to think. Next time you feel like you might hit your child Step back and look at that child Really look. Really understand why you shouldn't do that. Hug the child instead. With love. Understanding, compassion, empathy, And feel so much better inside. Other situations Take the.same.step back and ask yourself if its really worth it.

So well said. Children remember forever if your words are harsh and you lash out at them in anger. I know I do. I'm a grown woman, and I still have those memories and they aren't good ones. Maybe take a deep breath, think for a minute or two, and as the saying goes, let all you do be done with love. It wins every time.

Learning to restrain yourself from hitting a child is a good thing.
