Well, I thought it was some kind of baby lobster. Then the shop keeper clarifies that it's a cray fish and they don't grow big like the lobster. So a few days ago I bought one, along with seven rcs shrimps and four snails. I regret it later because I didn't research much on the crayfish. The first thing she did was digging and digging. I removed her and tried to make a home for her, so far she's just hiding and I bring the food to her instead. But today I checked again she started digging again and again in other corners of the tank. Sadly, most of my small shrimps died. Maybe shrimps are not for my aquarium. Have a nice day

Lol yeah crayfish like places they can hide they also do they to hide there food. It be best to get a decoration that has a hole. They will grow but yes not as big as lobster. Crayfish can get pretty big that is why people eat them know as crawfish. My husband and I have had several. Don’t worry about being food to him/her they will get it on there own. Just put in so dried up shrimps once a day and that be good. You can also do worms like live ones they will eat them too. Any small low tank fish they will eat so you want ones that like to be at the top or are big. Snails are good they help clean the tank but don’t get to many they will breed like crazy. Crayfish also don’t like the water too hot so like 75 degree temp is good.

@Letranknight2015 the pleco will be fine. Don’t worry fine the crayfish time. Gravel is better since they don’t dig as much but sand is fine as well.

They dig to hide if they don’t have one. I explained in my comment above yours more about crawfish since my husband had had several as fish pets

If that crayfish still digs after adding another batch of sand @jstory07 then I will have another tank with only this.
