Train crashes are rare

It isn’t often that we have a train crash here in the UK. We had one last night though, but fortunately there were just injuries and no deaths. Safety on the railways is important, and there will be an investigation into the incident. The train was derailed after hitting something on the line under a tunnel. This could be some debris that has fallen. The incident knocked all signalling out, and no warnings could be given to another train, which hit the derailed train also. We are very lucky to not have had any deaths.
