Many people have still never heard of 'Boondock Saints', which was released in the late 90's. The die-hard following that this exercise in perfect movie making has gathered is due primarily to word-of-mouth. There are so many excellent things to point out in this movie and I just don't have the time here. There is Willem DaFoe's amazing acting, a brilliant soundtrack/score that fits the feeling and imagery of the movie to a tee, and the genius way it was shot and directed. they were supposed to be working a on a sequel, but that seems to have fallen to the side of the road.

You Bet - I picture from the movie The Boondock Saints.
I love the movie, my favorite thing about it is the Irish Prayer, I wish I knew it!!

"And Shepherds we shall be, for thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That we may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti"

i got a real kick out of it. they prayed before they shot the bad guy. and the detective that got into their head really helped make the movie too. i liked a lot of it, but especially when they got into the fight in the vent then came down shooting. hilarious.
