The Colorado Springs Fire Department are being praised for their efforts of answering an emergency call on Tuesday evening to put out a heavy fire on a home.
The best part of this story is that the firefighters managed to rescue one man who was trapped in the basement of his home.
After the rescue of the man who was rescued by the firefighter was complete, the injured man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. His condition is not known at this time.
Nine persons who live in the home managed to leave the burning home safe and sound.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time. Thank goodness for out firefighters who do their best to save lives and rescue people.
