Yesterday it was breaking news.
Aaron Rodgers is out of this weekends game due to testing positive for COVID.
Now you may be asking, so are a lot of people so what is the big deal about this specific person?
The answer is not simply because he's Aaron Rodgers.
No, it's because when asked all the way back in the beginning of the season if he was vaccinated, he evaded the question by saying he was immunized.
Now until today, I actually didn't know there was a difference. I looked it up on google this morning and it still actually doesn't make sense to me.
This is what google had to say.
Vaccination: the act of introducing a vaccine into the body to produce protection from a specific disease.
Immunization: A process by which a person becomes protected against a disease through vaccination.
Also according to lovely google, the two terms are often interchangeable.
Now, the big thing that is going around now is that if he is not vaccinated, then Rodgers should be wearing a mask at the press conferences and at team meetings.
While that is a big issue right now, it's also the punishments that will come with this revelation that's being discussed.
Many teams have been getting hit with warnings and fines due to how they were handling the COVID guidelines but now you have a guy that has, according to the NFL, has been in violation of the guidelines since the beginning of the season.
How will they handle this? You can't just let it go...or will they because he's Aaron Rodgers?
Everyone wants to know.
What's your take on it?
I know that I'm not huge on it because as google said, it's the same thing basically. I don't like Rodgers but...I don't know.
You can't have a double standard. Yes I know that they do on some things but you're not supposed to.
Packers fans, how are you feeling about your upcoming game against KC now that your QB is out?

He's going to leave them anyways, don't think he cares about fines and stuff. But he shouldn't have lied
