The bhajans and devotional songs for Goddess Laxmi are sung together in Hindu houses. Women take the lead. Other members of the families sing them together. This is the festival and the period of year when all the family members in joint families meet together. The share of thoughts and unity strengthens the bonds in the families and spread happiness and fraternity.
