Tocino is bacon

Hello there! I just found out something interesting. Im not sure if a lot of you knows already or if Im the one outdated. Tocino is the spanish term for bacon. Yeah , I just knew about it just now .
Tocino is a well loved viand here in the Philippines. Usually when we eat tocino it is paired with eggs and fried rice perfect for breakfast , same with bacon.The only diffetence is the way they can be cooked or prepared. Bacon is best when it is crunchy and curled. While tocino has this sweet taste and some parts are caramelized.
Oh well Im glad for the new knowledge today. Tocino is also our lunch yesterday. Picture is mine.

Asian style type or should I say Filipino style bacon and Im proud .
