Pink Bells and Poinsettias

Feeling excited and impish this morning, I brought my newly purchased pink bell and poinsettia plants out and set the pots pretty on the garden work table, surrounded by small rocks. My intention: show it off to walkers and make them feel envious.
Serves me right for having ill thoughts. Backfired on me. Sigh!
It's a Saturday morning and not one jogger passed by. Could be all asleep from Friday night's TGIF.
My daughter also rose up a bit late but caught me sipping my coffee in my garden, watching the butterflies and bees and birds pollinate from flower to flower. So, she also brought out her coffee cup and joined me feeling the morning breeze.
A lovely day!

Thank you. Taking pictures of my garden flowers has been a hobby. I have albums upon albums of flowers and greens. I never get tired of photographing nature's wonders.

@Icydoll Here is a picture of my white roses. It's a local variety that doesn't have much thorns. I avoid prickly plants. Difficult to manage.

Ooops! You got me. I confess my thoughts could wander far and my mind hosts many a silly shenanigans. Gosh, I love to poke fun on others though I am not as successful in the art of pranking. But I still continue to tease. Feels pleasurable seeing people either smile or get angry.
I am a morning person, I think. And I take time watching insects make my garden their abode.

The fruit flies could be rid off with candles.
Candle-lit dinners are so enchanting. You gave me an idea. Perhaps I can do that on Christmas Eve!

Each day is good to me. Sometimes, there are special days because I get to interact with people like the gardener from the nursery who gave me tips about caring for my new plants. I, in turn, brought him a spaghetti pack for his family. He beamed wide ear to ear. I love to see people's faces happy!

Yup! You are perfectly correct. Saturday in my country is family day. Fathers wash the car of do some plumbing. Mothers hit the market early and prepare sumptuous feast for lunch. The children are the lazy bones who engage in the art of sleeping till kingdom come. But that changes when they grow up and mature. There's also grandpa and grandma who spoil the children. Sometimes, I think, that is their revenge towards their own children who made it difficult for them once. Ha ha.
Saturdays are blessed days.
Last Saturday, I fetched my daughter from the hospital. She has Sunday off duty. We slept the side by side on my bed the whole night. That's a rarity. Back to her condo Monday morn to fix her stuff and to the hospital to report for duty.
