Christmas star

We put up a star in the garden every Christmas along with other lights. This photo was of what we had put up a few years ago.
It is customary here to hang the star and put decorative lights along with a crib. In the good old days it used to be creating tiny rice and wheat fields and such to give it a real feel
Do you put up a crib too? What else do you do that makes you feel 'Christmasy'

I buy lanterns. We have simple decorations. No Christmas tree

@allknowing We usually buy a real Christmas tree the week before Christmas. We also have a fake one

We decorate the outside of our home with christmas lights, and put up a purple tree we bought at Target.

Oh lovely..I must get some Christmas stuff up..I only have one thing..a wall hanging.
