Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. As you know that I am a foodie and as winters have started my tastebuds want more yummy food
.
Winters have started in India and there are so many popular and varied good food dishes eaten in different parts of India.
When we talk about Gujarat, the popular foods like Undhyu and Ubadyu are eaten and relished by the people.
Both are vegetarian dishes. Starting with "Undhyu", it contains all green veggies which is prepared and it takes a long time but it's very yummy in taste.
Ubadyu is a popular street food available in Gujarat in different stalls. It's basically all veggies like potatoes, sweet potatoes, papdi, carrots etc which are kept raw in a pot and that pot is cooked on a low flame for some time by burning the leaves. It tastes very yummy too.
Winter delicacies in Punjab, India are to another level. Dishes like Chole Bhature i.e
Chickpea served with Indian flat bread. The popular makki di roti with sarso da saag is very yummy too i.e. Indian corn bread with spinach veggies. It's eaten by adding white butter on it.
Warm Desserts are to be relished too in winters like Gajar ka Halwa i.e. Carrot Halwa, Walnut Halwa, Warm Gulab Jamuns etc.
I just thought to share some of the yummy winter food dishes which I enjoy eating. Share what you like to have in winters!! Have a good day. Take care!!

As for winter dishes, Bengalis have a tradition of preparing 'PuliPitha', 'Patisapta'... (different kinds of pancakes), gurer rosogolla, khirer payesh...
