bachelorette parties

When you got married did you have bachelor and bachelorette parties? What did you do? My fiance and I dont want them but my friends insist on throwing one complete with strippers which I am completely against. How should I deal with this after already having told them I don't like it and I don't want it?

So if you don't want the party and they insist on it don't go to the party. Plan your own party and let it go at that. I didn't have a party at all with all my family being from out of town and not many friends around it was mainly my husband and I. Well at the time my fiance. It all works out in the end whether you have parties like this or not. Best of luck to you.
