Drone search finds a senior man in the woods in Missouri

The High Ridge Fire Protection District officials are grateful that a local business owner in Jefferson County in Missouri paid $25,000 dollars to assist the firefighters to have a drone for their use to locate a missing man who was reported by his relatives on Friday evening. The drone that was used to locate the elderly man who left his home on Friday evening who suffers from dementia like symptoms walked into the woods near his home and when he arrived at a creek, he took off his clothes to take a rest in the creek area. What is good about the drone that the firefighters used has a thermal imaging camera that was used to locate the missing man at night since due to the cold weather conditions, it was highly unlikely he would have survived. Jefferson County police officers went to the wooded area and with the help of the firefighters were able to locate the missing elderly man and take him to a local hospital where he is recovering from his near death experience since he was found quickly by the police since it is very important to find a missing person who is not properly dressed in cold weather since it was around 40 degrees F.
