This is seblak.
a food from Indonesia that is very popular lately, especially on the island of Java. Maybe because this food has a savory and spicy taste. The ingredients of this food are raw crackers that are soaked in hot water to make it soft. And it is also processed with complementary ingredients such as vegetables, macaroni, eggs and other ingredients.
Yesterday I tried it even though it was the first time but I really liked the taste. And I bought it at a roadside vendor.

Sounds pretty modern, I wonder if it's a revisited version of something traditional or a brand new dish.
Glad you enjoyed tasting it for the first time. It also doesn't look difficult to make, I might even try it at home. If I happen to find all the ingredients that would be.

@sabtraversa Yeah this food is new here, but there are also foods like this from before independence maybe this is a development from that, the ingredients of this food are easy to find here but definitely different there.

@Chakimmm while spicy foods are becoming more popular here it might be more the international shoppers that but most spicy foods. I never considered that before.

@MarshaMusselman Yeah spicy food will make us more excited to eat it if we are used to spicy, but it's a little not good for our bodies, especially for our stomachs if excessive.
