In Pondicherry in winter there is retreating monsoon and it rains.

Few years ago I went to Pondicherry with my mother wife and elder son. At that time in Anandha Inn we found that in December when the monsoon leaves the rest of the country in India, it still stays in Pondicherry. The place is situated in South India. But there was a beautiful swimming pool and my family enjoyed swimming in the pool during the rain as the water was clean and transparent.

yes Nawsheen the buildings in Pondicherry are painted white. Their architecture is in the French style. Pondicherry was ruled by France before India got independant
