A small plane pilot is grateful that he was able to be rescued by members of the Tampa Marine Unit as well as the Citrus County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) who were in the ocean on Tuesday working together when they saw the sinking small airplane.
The pilot of the small airplane was getting out and standing on top of the small plane when the agents were able to rescue the pilot and take him to safety.
What caused the small plane to crash into the ocean is being investigated by the authorities.
The pilot must have had a guardian angel looking out for him since the plane crash happened half a mile from the George T. Lewis Airport in Tampa Florida.
What are the odds that an exercise of the CCSO and the Tampa Marine Unit would be involved in rescuing a small plane pilot at the same time?
I am sure that the pilot is grateful that he was able to be rescued in the ocean as fast as he was after his plane crashed into the ocean since he is okay after the incident.

I'm so glad that the plane didn't go down; and that the pilot was able to be rescued from it.
