Kathyann Pellegrini who resides in Southwick Massachusetts used her father's birthdate to play the Massachusetts Lottery game called "$2 Million 50X Cashword" game at a foodmart in Southwick which paid off a prize worth $2 million dollars before taxes.
Kathyann who will accept a one time payment of $1,300,000 cash before taxes will use of some of her lottery winnings to buy basic needs like clothing for the winter to be given to the less fortunate,
Kathyann won the huge payout from the lottery on October 18. Since her dad was born on the 16th day, she chose to pay the $10 dollar scratch off ticket. The bin number which had the scratch off ticket was number 16.
A very odd way to a huge cash prize in the state lottery in terms of picking a winning lottery ticket.
The best part of this story is that the food mart will receive a reward of $20,000 dollars from the state lottery.

If we ever won the lottery there are a lot of organizations that we would like to support with our donations. I'm glad Kathyann is donating some of her winnings.
