These tribes are settling in the territories along the western part of Mountain Province, Benguet, and the southern part of Ilocos. The way they speak of their dialect can be distinguished. The hard regional accent is in Sagada and Besao, while the soft ones are in the northern part of Benguet, Mountain Province of Sabangan, Tadian, and Bauko.
They wear tribal clothes called 'wanes' or G-string for men and 'tapis' or tribal skirts for women with waistbands called 'wakes.' They love tribal dances, such as 'tayaw' for village celebration (wedding), 'pattong' to cast away evil spirits, common dance 'balangbang,' and 'takik' for tribal weddings.
