Precious notes my soul softly sang As butterflies eagerly flew to their havens, The timid side of this long roaring flame Burns through the wax it finally gave in. Soulmates didn’t exist in my young eyes When connections deep had awakened, The power over me as tensions grew Only had my love for him strengthen. His voice shattered my glass walls In my mind his words of gold traveled, Cracked was the shell I had for years Watching our future freely unravel.
