I Guess Lar's From Rancid not Metallica s is putting out a new album. I am not sure if it is his first solo album or if it is like some think that He is trying to bring his old band back. To me sounds more like it will be a solo album because his first two releases are of just him and not with his old band. Lars is always cool in my book. To punks true form there is a lot of self deprecation. A lot of people find that sad or weak. I always thought its a great strength. It makes you go I looked silly but now I am tougher and can go punch the world in the face. Punk till this day is pretty much the only music left that does that. The true ones anyway. One of his first lines "As I got older I got scars to prove my worth More times than others I fell face first in the dirt" I always also like listening to Lars because you can see how much Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman rubbed off on him. That is why that band will never break up. There is something to be said in this world when you can at least count on something. Anyway, Lars singing about how he is in a gang and its not the gangster type but the good kind of gangs that saved you from yourself from prison or the ultimate ,death. Cool Version and nice memories of the past for him.
