When do you put your Christmas tree up ?

We moved into our new home about a week before Christmas last year and everything was really a bit of a rush. We got a lovely tree and although our decorations weren't the best ( all the decent stuff had long since been sold ) I thought the tree looked amazing. This year we have had more time to plan. We bought some gorgeous baubles last weekend that go perfectly with our colour scheme. Of course, we also bought other decorations too. I am keen to put the tree and decorations up as close to December 1st as I can. The Mister isn't as keen on Christmas as I am and he wants to wait s few weeks .... So.....what do you think ?

I think it's great timing, I used to work for a lady that put hers after Labor Day.
