Okay, not really, but I might be headed down that road lol.
So we’re babysitting my brother’s kids (two girls ages 9 and 11, and a 4yr old boy) because he’s having surgery early tomorrow and my sister-in-law will be with him. Obviously, they’re not going to take the kiddos to the hospital, so they’re here for the night. It’s an outpatient surgery, but they probably won’t be picked up until the afternoon or evening.
I love them so much, and I don’t mind them here, but they’re driving me crazy lol. It’s only the 4yr old’s second time spending the night here, so he’s a little out of sorts. He’s stalling his bedtime (he’s lying down but fighting sleep).
The 11yr old and my 12yr old niece (my sister’s daughter; lives here) are sleeping upstairs. Due to space, the 9yr old and 4yr old are sleeping down here with me. It’s the 4yr old’s bedtime, so they’re watching Coco in the living room. Once he falls asleep, I’ll probably go lie down in the living room. The 9yr old and I are going to watch The Golden Girls (she likes that show) until she conks out. Or well, until WE conk out lol.
I’m trying to finish up a few orders, but I’m cutting my losses and hitting the hay once the 4yr old falls asleep. I’ll probably work until around midnight (or before), just to give myself a few more hours since I’ve been on the same order for a bit now, but that’s my limit because I’m tired. I’m not stressing about my sleep schedule tonight because of the kiddos staying the night.
Alrighty, I’m out. You all take care.

You are taking a great care of the kids.
Their parents obviously need help as of now.

Thank you. My sister and brother-in-law are too. :) But I sleep on the first floor so it makes more sense for me to be with the little ones. The 9yr old will sleep through the night; it's the 4yr old I need to worry about.
Oh, I know. I'm not complaining or anything, but it was getting a little stressful so I needed to vent. I love those kids, but it's a lot when you're trying to work on writing orders, feed the dogs, etc. They'll be fine though.

I have two kids. I had sleepless nights when they were infants. At times, waking up to 3 to 4 hours in the night.
I had weight loss and well not a very good appearance.
Some people even used to kind of taunt me or indirectly make a fun.
But that is past.
It is tough to bring up kids but enjoyable as well.

Hope the rest of your evening goes well. Babysitting isn't always fun, but it can still sometimes be rewarding.

Thank you so much. The kiddos are sleeping. It wasn't all that fun tonight, but in general, I love these kids a lot. They're good kids, the 4yr old is just testing boundaries but also getting used to being here overnight. He's only stayed overnight once before, back in July or August (I'm thinking July). The girls have stayed the night countless times lol.

Hope it didn't take much longer for the little one to fall asleep
