Well, The Night Went Okay….

….But the morning, not so much, and it wasn’t really because of the little ones. Heyyy there, everyone. I’m separating my thoughts into two posts, and then I’m going to disappear for a bit while I work. I don’t want too many tabs open. So, I went to bed shortly after my 4yr old nephew and 9yr old niece fell asleep. I was on my phone for a short while, but I probably put it on the charger between 1-1:30am. My nephew woke up twice, but with no tears. The first time, I think he was trying to remember where he was, and then he wanted his sippy cup refilled. So I went to do that, and he was out again by the time I got back lol. So I just placed the cup on the table and went back to the other couch. The second time, he had an accident, but he was a trooper about it. He asked if he could watch some kids' show on his phone (he only uses WiFi on it; it’s an old phone). I decided to just let him, since I figured he’d conk back out, and I was right. It was turned down low enough to where it wouldn’t bother me (I set it up on the table for him) and it eventually went into sleep mode or something, I guess. Unfortunately, our dog Dash decided to test his own boundaries for a few hours, starting at around 5:30am. He just wasn’t listening. It wasn’t because the kiddos were here; this has happened before. By the time the sun had come up, my nephew woke up and informed me it was 6 o’clock (I don’t think so, but that was funny lol). It was probably closer to 7am. He asked if he could watch Coco again, and his sister was already waking up. I wound up dozing back off as more people started to get up, and the kiddos knew they could wake me if they needed anything. As for now, he’s been down for a nap for a bit now. The boy has been up since 6am-7am, there was no way he wasn’t taking a nap today lol. And, that’s it. I can’t say it was a huge lack of sleep because I did fall back to sleep for a few hours. But I’m still tired. However, I’m going to push through because I have a lot to do, and I want/need to be productive. Alrighty, I’m going to go write out my second post and then I’m getting to work.
