I needed to be quiet the past few days because my daughter has deliverables. The research was a pretty heavy stuff. So, she gave me a list of movies to watch. The title 'Liberal Arts' caught my attention. It was, after all, the discipline I took in college.
True enough, the movie revolved in the story of a 35 year old 'romantic reader' who was ushered back to his collegiate grounds upon the invitation of his second favorite teacher. There he met a young lady sixteen years his junior who got infatuated with him. They exchanged correspondence and got to meet again. It was like a romance was in the air but the nope, the age gap factor came to play. For instance, the millennial girl enjoyed Vampire trash books which was reprehensible to a serious reader that the protagonist was.
The narrative was told in a first person point of view. Thus, we, the audience, gets to hear his thoughts.
Wouldn't give a spoiler about how the story ends but I came to realize that this genre is my kind of stuff.

That would be a spoiler and would defeat the purpose of enjoying the film.
