Dealing With Loneliness

I used to think that I am the loneliest person in the world. I believed that loneliness was a disease, afflicting relatively a few people.
If you care to see, the lonely man is everywhere. You find him standing in a street corner. You find him in a beer garden, staring at his blank expression reflected in a glass of liquor. You see him in a park, sitting alone on the grass or on a stone bench lost in thought and trying to understand the reason for his being.
The lonely man is there in the covid facility, having to experience dying. There is no escaping loneliness. However, loneliness allows a man to reexamine his values, to look deeply into himself, bringing new ideas , and new discoveries.

Loneliest is not exclusive to a spinster like me. On the contrary I believe I am not lonely at the moment and I wish it stays this way. The moment I wake up in the morning till I retire to bed at night I don't feel any vacuum the way I felt in the past when I was longing to be with someone.

@Junbals Loneliness is that sad feeling which everyone must experience in order to know what joy is.

I found this very interesting point about loneliness:
'Nearly everyone feels lonely at times. That includes people who seem to be popular. Why? Because often it is not the quantity of friends but the quality of friendships that determines whether a person feels lonely. Someone who seems popular could constantly be surrounded by people but have no real friends and therefore feel lonely.'
We know that the term 'friend' has been grossly overused and many equate 'popularity' with friendship and they are not the same thing.

I think most people had loneliness deep in heart, but they don't speak it out, bear loneliness alone. When i feel lonely,i will call friend and gather with them,it can deal with loneliness.Everything had upside including loneliness,as you said,a lonely people may have deep insight, and can be careful to discover sth unnoticeable.
