Wonder Girl sighting in Florida

Even though what Journee Nelson did by punching in the face a male who stole the purse of her mother at a parking lot in West Palm Beach on November 2 when Journee's mother was loading off groceries in her auto at a Sabor Tropical Supermarket is not recommended since the criminal had threatened to rub out her if she resisted.
I understand why Journee who is a nine year old girl would take action by chasing the crook four houses down would punch the crook in the face since Journee was protecting her mother which is an honorable thing to do.
Even though the crook got away that day, the West Palm Beach police was able to arrest the alleged crook Demetrius Jackson two days later and arrested on robbery and battery charges.
Journee was awarded by the West Palm Police with a medal and certificate by Police Chief Frank Adderly.
Why the Wonder Girl reference? Wonder Girl who is related to Wonder Woman is one of my favorite Teen Titans characters in the comic books in the 1970s.

I will give Journee credit for taking action to hit the crook in the face even though she could have been killed or wounded by the criminal that was taken by surprise that a little girl would hit him.

Even though what Journee did was risky since she could have been hurt, she did the right thing protecting her mom from that crook.

She was brave since she took the leap of faith to punch the crook in the face even though he did tell her mom unless she obeyed his orders, he was going to harm her.

It's a very misleading title. Although, she was either brave or stupid for trying that. He could've been armed and this story could've ended very differently.

Ha Journee is a true Wonder Girl!! Especially punching him in the face!
What a brave girl she is.
And only 9 yrs old. Yes, it is dangerous, and I am glad that she was not hurt by this.
Glad they caught that dirty crook.
