Power outage

Lagos, Nigeria
November 21, 2021 5:22pm CST
As I typed my first note on the platform, there was a sudden power outage, which made me drop my phone searching for touch lights and stuff.. Hmm if you are from these parts you learn to live with constant power failures, it's a way of life here

@Slobevoler They are working on the road which means we didn't have water. Me, I keep two buckets of water just in case. I have been taking daub showers...(pour a little cup of water over me, use very thin suds, pour another little cup to wash away the soap and a last little cup.) the water came back in trickles so I've refilled the buckets. The only shower I'll be taken is if it rains.

Be prepared with a few solar lights and battery flashlights and lights and candles if possible and always keep your phone charged. Your phone also has a flash light

Having had lived in places where there is extreme weather due to typhoons, hurricanes, snow, floods, etc., while serving a career in the military, I am quite familiar with power outages and other annoyances, that are not specific to your country. "...way of life..." can be from anything experienced, including health issues, etc. I am sorry that you have such difficulties that are so tough that life becomes nearly unbearable for you.
