Doug Sears who works at the Animal Charity of Ohio is one person who enjoyed taking care of a dog named Ceasar who had been in the shelter since 2016 with sores on his body and heartworms. Doug liked Ceasar when he first saw him when he came to the animal shelter five years ago since maybe it is the feeling that dogs like humans who they can trust that they have good chemistry together. What makes Doug happy as well as bittersweet is that he took care of Ceasar so much that when Doug found out last week that a loving family was going to adopt Ceasar, Doug is happy that Ceasar that the dog will not be living inside of an animal shelter for the rest of his life. Doug is sad since Ceasar will no longer be his best friend at the animal shelter. I will say that at least he enjoyed his mission of finding Ceasar a new home after five and a half years at the animal shelter. Doug is hoping that loving families who need a pet to spend time with them will adopt the animals from his employer since they have been inside the shelter for a long time.

Gosh that was a terrible long time in that shelter. I am so glad that the dog had Doug. Ceasar must have been so happy to have been adopted though.

People who care for dogs, or other animals at that, are truly human. Happy for Caesar who was cared for by this human Doug. By the way, I have four new puppies. Born just yesterday. Will probably put two for adoption. Not because I don't care but because I couldn't afford more mouths to feed. Hu hu.

I know how you feel putting up two puppies to be adopted since you cannot afford to feed them. I agree with you that Doug loves his job at the animal shelter.

I agree with you since many families want to have a pet for their children or their home.

No dog should have to spend 5-1/2 years in a shelter. I'm so glad he was finally adopted.

I agree with you about the length of Ceasar being in the shelter was too long for any dog.

I wish all the dogs and cats who need a loving home could find one.

I know how you feel since I would also like to see all dogs and cats find a loving home outside of a shelter.
