Sending to study

Few days back I visited a street children hostel.During interaction with
inmates I was asked "why we are sent to
school when we are able to work and earn" Can any one give prper reply?

Actually, We're send to school to improve our social circle. We interact with people and learn to speak. We play with others and learn to feel the greatest happiness ever. We enjoy. We study different subjects to increase our level of interest in different topics. It makes easy to create an aim of our life, a goal which makes us successful. That's it.
