The transition places in New Delhi are awesome.

In India many people travel in trains across two transit points. They board at one station. They get down in another point. I had to travel from Jodhpur to New Delhi. Then Delhi I had to board a train 8 hour later to come to Kolkata. There are many transit hotels like Ajanta in Paharganj in New Delhi where passengers can spend the transit time before boarding into the other train.

thanks Patricia India is the 7th largest country in the world. So rail travel between distant cities take 24 to 30 hours.
