KRON TV news crew security guard shot while they were covering a robbery

KRON TV was covering a robbery when they were attacked. Kevin Nishita, a former police officer, served as a security guard for the news team and was shot on Wednesday. He died on Saturday. The crime has not been solved yet. CRime is definitely getting out of hand.

Yes, that is the case. Generally news crews are targeted for their camera equipment.
