Children Remain in Hospital After Tragedy

On Nov. 21, Darrell E. Brooks, 39, allegedly drove into the parade in Waukesha, a suburb of Milwaukee, initially killing five people and injuring more than 60. On Tuesday, 8-year-old Jackson Sparks became the sixth fatality.
He was charged with five counts of first-degree intention. One of nine children remaining in a hospital following last Sunday's Christmas parade tragedy in Wisconsin was released Saturday, according to reports.
Eight children, whose conditions range from serious to good, were still hospitalized.
They cannot be forgotten. Such a senseless tragedy. This criminal intentionally ran over these innocent victims. He should not have been out of jail at the time.
Thoughts are with all of the families and I hope all of the children are home soon.

Absolutely heartless and senseless. My husband and I are friends with a co worker of Tamara Durand. He just showed me a picture of her with her husband. She was a beautiful young lady.
So sad and tragic. Yes, our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone touched by this horrific act.
