This rescue story is kind of odd since as far I know coyotes are not known for being near any body of water since my knowledge of coyotes is that they are animals who are seen on the desert area like the Warner Brothers cartoons that starred the Road Runner and his arch rival Wile E. Coyote. On Saturday afternoon a coyote was seen struggling to stay afloat in the San Francisco Bay. Concerned eyewitnesses contacted the San Francisco Fire Department to come and rescue the coyote for some strange reason fell into the bay. The firefighters were able to work as a team as one firefighter used a lasso to keep the head of the coyote above water while his partner managed to get the coyote into his jet ski where he was taken by the jet ski to shore where paramedics took care of the coyote who had been stricken with hypothermia. The coyote was then taken by the paramedics to a veterinary center to be warmed up and released.
