A 10 year old Colorado boy buys gifts for needy persons in Aurora with his allowance

I just love to share stories of young children who show a huge heart of kindness to persons in their community this holiday season.
A 10 year old Aurora boy named Chassyon who did not give out his last name used his allowance money that he made working at his parents home so he could buy gifts for needy persons.
Chassyon went to the Aurora Community Relations department last month to leave
more than 10 gifts to the police station since he was touched by the sight of seeing persons in his community who do not have any items on their possession.
The police officers in the community center are impressed that a child like Chassyon shows that he cares for the needy in his community.
If all children can have the heart of kindness that Chassyon has, we would have a better world to live in.

What a special young man he is. His parents raised him right. I love hearing about good deeds anyone you write about does. I agree with your last sentence but not all kids have parents that raise them right. It is amazing when I do meet kids that have manners because so many do not.

I am also amazed that some children are being raised right by their parents these days since the media likes to report the dark deeds kids do like that teen who killed a handful of students in Michigan recently.

I am glad that there are parents that raise their kids right and there are parents that do their best or try and the kids just may fall into a bad crowd or see that it is wrong to do bad things. The parents are the starting point. My parents were not around and I try to be a better person but things get in my way.
