Baseball may be done for the year. I am sure will come back but might be like minor league games. You know its serious when you see organizations put out fan letters apologizing. How much money do you greedy fools need.
Also sorry Yadi and Adam Wainright and Albert Puljols. Looks like you all going out with a whimper instead of a bang. Well, Adam might not but pretty sure other two are done after this year one way or another. You are part of the players association so your fault also if you do not rectify this.

Who are they kidding? Baseball is “done for the year.” We don’t really have to “worry” about anything until February when spring training starts!
I can’t believe that ANY part of this equation — be it the owner who did it or the player who accepted it — will throw $130 million at a 36-year-old for three years, then complain about baseball costing too much money.

True, 2021 done but they saying 2022, I do hope they smarter than that but money does weird things to people. I actually think Where Cardinals excel and they would never why they never get that big player. Be reasonable or make Colorado pay for it. Come on that is Arenado's contract Colorado paying for like 2 more years I think. He also has the option to leave St.Louis after year but said he wants to come back.
That is some genius economics right there. I get what you are saying though Yankees throw money around like its cool so do Redsox and Cubs did for a minute Dodgers do now but Cubs said we actually need to be more like Cardinals Oakland and Tampa. The contracts are getting out of hand and not just in sports now its everywhere so people not going to tolerate a greed stand off and if they do baseball should be punished to the highest level.
You think people really going to continue to get robbed like this. I mean fans are going to pay one way or another higher ticket prices concession stand prices and parking. Easy for baseball to make up costs either way.
