My Letter Arrived Yesterday

My mom woke me up early yesterday to tell me it had came in, but even though I was really excited to read it I was so tired I decided to wait til I was ready to get up. (Plus I was dreading it saying the same stuff as previous years).
Well, there were some of the same things. And there was some same topics but slightly different information for them. But there was also a little bit of new information! Yay!
And now the letter is packed away with all the others, inside her box of baby stuff in my closet. And I wait for next December's.
Four and a half more years babygirl! Mommy loves you and misses you!

@marguicha @marlina No. I have a (birth)daughter who I get a letter on every December thru my open adoption for her.
I've written about getting the letter every December, as well as my story with her etc.

I'm glad you received your annual letter! Does she write it herself, or do her adoptive parents write it? Also, are you allowed to write back?
You are getting ever so closer to your goal of reuniting with your daughter. I really hope these next four and a half years go by very quickly for you!

@moffittjc no. But also it doesn't come to my house mailbox, it goes to my po box at the post office. Which is how dcf does it. So even if i moved id still have the po box for the letter to go to
