Rainbow Reflection

A long afternoon it was yesterday watching 'How I Met Your Mother,' an old television series my daughter has come to like very much. I know of the television drama, of course, having seen episodes way back when the seasons were offered in local home viewing. But I never knew how it ended, and was not really keen of knowing. My daughter clicked on the show while I was busy on a chore. I found her laughing heartily that I decided to sit beside her and half-heartedly watched the characters essay roles that seem like spin-offs from Thornton Wilder's 1900's Our Town. In the series, it's love, life, career, lonesomeness, friendship, social issues in New York - as seen in a bar or someone's apartment. I jumped seasons, I just wanted to see the end that finally reveals the title - 'How I Met Your Mother.' It was a good end, I think, which, according to my daughter, did receive a strong criticism from the viewers who found the resolution totally unacceptable. Hay! With such a thought did I make my way to the kitchen for a snack. And I found, right beside the oven, an inflection of light on the kitchen tile. Oh well, I said to my self, people are a variety of characters with their own colors, all put in a rainbow to show beauty. Am fine with that.

@eileenleyva No. But, we're not all the same, either.

I liked the show very much. And the end was perfectly acceptable by me.
