Rain, Thunder & Lightning Overnight

Last night we had lots of rain, thunder and lightning. Most of the night and early morning. Now the cool temperatures are slowly arriving. 25 degrees tomorrow morning. That is cold. Will be staying inside for now. Refreshed the bird bath as it was frozen. Enjoying the layers with Dustin's flannels this time of year. Sunshine now. But a cold sunshine for a few days.

We’ve had rain the last few days. I ran out to the mailbox late in what I thought was between showers and got soaking wet.

Wow 25 is cold for Nashville!. We had s**w last night. Some in our county had over 6". I will see how much we got in the morning. Stay warm!

@CarolDM We lucked out an only got about 3". The Meals on Wheels lady managed to get her car stuck in our driveway. She doesn't drive too well.

Yes we are close to breaking records for December. We have gotten snow but usually in January or February.

we went from 64 (around 6 pm) to 29 (around 6 am). But, we did not have thunder and lightning!

Yes so I was reading Carol, such big storms down your way. Glad it is sunny now there. Poor birds ..the frozen bird bath. It is very cold here right now at 20F

Usually I never heard of thunderstorms in the winter but here in Florida we so get them now and then even in the winter,

There were tornado warnings east of Nashville early this morning (about 7-ish). Hope none of that bad weather hit you. We just had wind, thank God. And now it’s COLD.
