Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. The most important problem faced by many countries across the globe is of Corruption. Any form of corruption breaks the economic backbone of the country. Every year on 9th December, "International Anti-corruption Day" is celebrated in order to raise public awareness for anti-corruption. Every year $ 1 trillion is paid as bribes and an estimated $2.6 trillion are stolen annually through corruption. It is a sum equivalent to more then 5% of global GDP. Government of different countries have regulated lot of norms in order to restrict corruption. We, as humans, have to make efforts from our side not to indulge in corruption. Corruption always takes place between two parties. If there isn't someone offering bribes then automatically we are able to destroy the viscious chain of corruption. Share your thoughts about it. Have a good day. Take care!!!

@TheSojourner @Rashnag I think in ways there will always be corruption in a sense even if we didn't have politicians or super-rich there will always be niches and cliques of society where some people have more social pull than others so they will still be able to sway things to their own benefit even without using money.

@TheSojourner I guess it is just about getting the lesser of the two evils in power. Plus it is the reason I don't have faith in the ability of the human population to be self-policing. They complain about corruption in the police force but without them, there will still be corruption. Or am I too cynical in my fellow humans ability to do the right thing?

@TheSojourner Yeah realistic. Normally I like to think the best of people like "Im sure you have good and we could do it" but nowadays nah. People don't care and the people that do are too few and far between
