I had gone to watch movie on weekend after a long time!!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I recently went to theatre for watching movie on Saturday.
Theatres at our place have opened since long time. Though, it was weekend, not much people were there. On the counter, they checked my vaccine certificate and then gave me ticket not physically instead message came on my phone.
I think maybe because of vaccination certificate that there were few people in the theatre. However, I enjoyed the movie. It was a new bollywood movie named "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui".
The movie was really very good. It was based on transgender people's lives. It showed how the actress was priorly a guy and got the surgery done to become a girl.
The actor falls in love with this girl. Eventually when the girl tells him about her past. The actor is shocked and takes time to understand and accept her as it is.
With good twist and turns, along with some comedy, romance and emotions. It was a very good movie. It gave the social message of treating everyone equally irrespective of gender and to love for who they are in present rather than harping on their past.
The movie touched me and it made me more compassionate towards trans people. It was a worth visit to theatre. Also the theatre was sanitised well and everyone were following the rules by wearing masks, gloves and keeping social distance.

Good that they are keeping a check on vaccination certificate. Good to keep people safe.
I was impressed with the story the moment I read of it. And I am sure that Ayushmann would have delivered to the expectation. I don't like the acting of Vaani. It irritates me. Hope she has improved.

@Rashnag That sounds good. It's a challenging role beating the stereotype. Glad that she has delivered well to justify the role.

I find it interesting that they checked your vaccination certificate when you went to the ovies. Do they check it in restaurants also? I haven't been to a movie here in the US for a long time so I don't know if they check for vaccinations or not.
