I am really impressed on the ability of 15 year old female teenager Sydney Raley who suffers from autism is living her life learning how to save lives after she took a Red Cross course as an 11 year old living in Edina Minnesota. Sydney who is employed at McDonald's Hamburgers starting this Summer is being praised for her quick work of saving the life of a female customer who began to choke which alerted Sydney who was working inside of the store taking orders from customers who were using the drive through on a Saturday afternoon in Eden Prairie. Sydney jumped through the window of the drive through and managed to get the female choking victim out of her auto and use the Heimlich Maneuver on the choking victim to save her life. When the word got out of what Sydney did to save the life of the choking victim who ate a chicken nugget, the daughter of the choking victim called 911. A bystander assisted Sydney to take of the choking victim until the police arrived at the scene which is kind of odd since normally it would be a first responder team instead of the police. However thanks to the life saving move by Sydney, two local police officers gave Sydney $50 dollars each for her work as a lifesaver. Sydney who suffers from autism is living proof that she is capable of doing acts of heroism as well as anyone. I do not what the minimum age for teens to work in a fast food restaurant but thank goodness Sydney was at the right place at the right time on Saturday. I am sure that the management at McDonald's who have television ads from their competitors making fun of their food is having the last laugh since one of their employees is now a lifesaver.
