I probably should’ve posted this on Sunday or Monday, but I was busy on Sunday and exhausted on Monday, so I’m posting it now lol. This is going to be another long post, but oh well, I don’t always write short posts. 1. Work: Obviously, I’m going to be working all week. I have several writing orders I want to complete, and I don’t see the reason to take most of the week off when Christmas is a Saturday this year. I took off yesterday because I was absolutely exhausted, but I’ll be working a full day today and tomorrow. I intend to work on Thursday, but I don’t know for how long because I’m supposed to finish up my Christmas shopping. I may work at least a half-day on Christmas Eve, but that’s if I have time and there are orders that catch my eye. I have other non-work-related things to take care of on Christmas Eve, which I’ll mention in a bit. 2. NKOTB Blog. I’m so behind on my Christmas-related posts on my New Kids On The Block fan blog, so I’m trying to do two posts a day (picture and video/song). Truthfully, I didn’t post yesterday because when I say I was exhausted, I mean it lol. If I don’t get everything posted, it’s not the end of the world. It’s a blog I run for fun, and I’m not going to turn it into a chore (if that happens, I’ll stop updating it for a while). 3. MyLot. I think we know why I wasn’t around yesterday (hello, exhaustion from that all-nighter). I want to try to post throughout the week, as well as catch up on my notifications. I’m sure a bunch of notifications has already expired, but that’s life lol. 4. Take Care of Laundry. I need to put my laundry away and wash another load, so yippee lol. 5. Last-Minute Card. I received a Christmas card from a newer friend who didn’t tell me they were sending me one lol. Luckily, I have a few cards and one stamp left, so she’ll be getting one. She knows it may be late, and she understands, especially since I didn’t have her address until now (a long, uneventful story). I’ll be filling it out tonight and mailing it off asap. There is a mailbox a few blocks away from our house. 6. Finish Christmas Shopping. I’m going out on Thursday, as I need to pick up a few main gifts, and the rest of my stocking stuffers. I also need to grab a Christmas Eve gift for my older sister (an old family tradition that I used to continue with Mom); we’re doing snacks/candy though. Plus, I need something for the stocking stuffers. Unless I can find something cute and cheap, I’ll probably just get some gift bags this year. I really need to start shopping earlier next year. 7. Start Wrapping. I haven’t wrapped a single thing, so I’ll probably do that on Christmas Eve, which is why I said I’d probably only work a half-day (if I work at all). I’ll just put on The Ref, as I realized this is my Christmas wrapping movie lol. It’s a holiday comedy from the 90s starring Denis Leary, if anyone wants to look it up. It's not on any free streaming apps (that I know of), but I do have it on DVD. 8. Make The Pumpkin Pie. I bought a pumpkin pie for Friendsgiving at my friend’s house in PA, but I realized it needed to be baked for about an hour, and I’m literally the only one out of that group who likes pumpkin pie. Sooo, I decided to bring it home and stick it in the freezer. I’ll bake it for my family on Christmas Eve because we all love pumpkin pie in this house lol. It should still be good, but I’ll double-check it. 9. Maybe Exercise. I would love to try to find the time and motivation (or self-discipline) to exercise. I’ve gone for walks, but I don’t think that’s enough, especially when I have the exercise pedal, as well as an app on my phone. 10. Self-Care. I just wanted to even out the to-do list haha. But yeah, I definitely need to practice more self-care in the midst of craziness, grief, etc. And that’s my possible to-do list for the week. I hope to get a lot accomplished. With that being said, I’m going to wrap this up and finish up this order. I’ll be back soon for the Gratitude Challenge. Photo Credit: Pixabay.
